Recap of October 11th Meeting

Our October 11th meeting focused on a half square triangle (HST) program.

We had a great number of show and shares, both regular and HST quilts.  We then discussed over 7 different ways to make HST and then different tips and notions to make the marking, sewing, and trimming of HST easier and quicker.  Here are some of the wonderful show and shares:

For the November 8th meeting:

We are going to have a fun ornament exchange.  If you would like to participate simply bring in a handmade ornament.  Any ornament at all, preferably one that contains fabric.

Our topic for the November meeting is simple sewing and quilting gifts for the holidays.  If you have any ideas please them to show the group.  You do not have to do a demo, you can just talk through the process.  Last year we had some wonderful gifts shown such as scarves, hot plates, and fabric Christmas trees.  You can also show or describe how you made your swap ornament.

See you then!
